GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
I / RESERVATION
Any reservation implies acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, payment of a deposit, and booking fees (if applicable).
The reservation will be considered final upon receipt of the deposit and written confirmation from Camping du Lac.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
As the reservation of a pitch or accommodation is made in the name of the customer, it may not be sublet or transferred.
II / PAYMENT
1 – Booking fees
The booking fee amounts to €10 per rental or reserved pitch.
These fees are waived for camping pitch stays starting before 14 July or after 15 August, as well as for Rando/Cyclo pitches.
In the event of cancellation, booking fees are non-refundable.
2 – Deposit / Balance
Studio and Lodge rentals:
- If the reservation is made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- If the reservation is made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 25% of the total amount plus booking fees is required at the time of booking.
The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay.
Camping pitches:
- If the reservation is made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, full payment is due at the time of booking.
- If the reservation is made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 25% of the stay amount plus booking fees is required.
The customer may pay the balance on arrival. However, in the event of cancellation less than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, the full balance of the stay becomes immediately due. - In the absence of a reservation, payment for the stay may be made on departure, subject to the deposit of an identity document.
III / CANCELLATION
1 – Unused services
In the event of late arrival or early departure, no refund or reduction will be granted.
2 – Cancellation by the customer (excluding specific insurance)
- Cancellation 30 days or more before the scheduled date: the deposit and booking fees are retained by the campsite
- Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival: the full amount of the stay is due.
3 – Cancellation by the campsite
In the event of cancellation attributable to the campsite (excluding cases of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances requiring cancellation for safety reasons), the customer will be fully refunded all amounts paid.
Such cancellation shall not give rise to any claim for compensation.
4 – Campez-Couvert cancellation insurance
Optional “travel/cancellation/interruption of stay” insurance (2.9% of the stay amount) may be taken out at the time of booking.
Only insured customers are entitled to reimbursement in accordance with the terms of the Campez-Couvert contract.
In the event of cancellation, the campsite must be informed as soon as the event occurs.
If the claim is covered by the General Conditions of the insurance, the event must be declared to the insurer within 48 hours, together with all required supporting documents.
IV / STAY
1 – Camping pitches
The maximum number of persons per pitch is 6, including young children.
Arrivals take place between 3.00 pm and 7.00 pm. Departures must take place before midday.
Any departure after midday will result in the charging of an additional night.
Any delayed arrival must be notified. Pitches are held for 24 hours after the scheduled arrival date. After this period, they will no longer be reserved and the full amount of the stay will be due.
2 – Studio and Lodge rentals
Upon arrival, two security deposits will be required (cheque, bank card or cash):
• €350 for the rental and its equipment
• €50 (Studio or Lodge Nature) or €70 (Lodge Confort) for cleanliness
These deposits will be returned separately after inventory and cleanliness inspection.
Low season: arrivals on any day, with a minimum stay of 2 nights; key handover by appointment.
July–August: arrivals and departures on Saturdays only (except last-minute availability);
key handover between 4.00 pm and 7.00 pm.
Any delayed arrival must be notified. Rentals are held for 24 hours after the scheduled arrival date. After this time, the rental will no longer be reserved and the full amount of the stay will be due.
The tenant must check the inventory upon arrival and report any anomaly before midday the following day.
Departures are by appointment between 8.30 am and 10.00 am.
The accommodation must be returned in a perfectly clean condition; any damage or cleaning required will be charged.
Retention of the deposit does not preclude additional compensation if costs exceed its amount.
3 – Regulations
All guests must comply with the internal regulations displayed at the entrance to the campsite.
- Quiet hours between 11.00 pm and 7.00 am.
- Speed limited to 10 km/h; traffic prohibited between 10.30 pm and 7.00 am.
- Unsupervised swimming pool: children must be accompanied by an adult; swimming shorts are prohibited.
- Pets: must be kept on a lead, tattooed, vaccinated, and declared at reception. Pets are prohibited in studios and lodges. Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited.
- Pets must never be left unattended.
Visitors are admitted only with authorisation from reception and under the responsibility of their hosts.
They must park outside the campsite and do not have access to facilities (swimming pool, showers, etc.).
Each camper must insure their personal belongings. In the event of loss, theft, damage, fire or bad weather, the campsite cannot be held liable.
You may be photographed or filmed during your stay and appear in our communication materials.
If you object, you must inform us by registered letter, enclosing a copy of your identity document.
V / DISPUTES
In the event of a dispute, the customer may refer the matter to a consumer mediator within a maximum period of one year following a written complaint sent to the campsite by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.

In accordance with Article L.121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, accommodation and leisure services that are reserved are not subject to the right of withdrawal.
They therefore remain exclusively subject to the cancellation conditions set out above.
