Biscarrosse which had been chosen in 1930 to test France’s largest sea-planes, exhibits today a unique collection of models, mechanical parts and documents. Every other year in May, the town hosts the great International Seaplane Meeting.
1st week-end of August. Wear the traditional red and white party outfit and join the festivities in the arena or in the lively streets to the sound of bandas (brass bands) and fire-works.
Ranging from the traditional bull fight to the acrobatic “courses landaises” or the humoristic “toro piscine”, there is a show for everyone, whatever age or sensibility.
